How it works

Step 1

Send us photos (it’s free)

Email a few photos to info@homefrontauctions.co.uk, use the valuation form, or ring 01792 978155. We will tell you honestly what we think it could make, whether we will come and collect, whether it is easier for you to drop off at our saleroom in Fforestfach by appointment, or if it is not worth the trip. No cost, no commitment, no invoice if you decide not to go ahead.

Step 2

We do the rest

We photograph, describe and catalogue everything ourselves and sell it by online auction through Easy Live Auction and Bidspirit. We hold a sale roughly every ten days; your items go into the first one with room for them once they are catalogued, and we tell you which. Before it opens you get a list of your lots with our estimates and any reserves we recommend.

Step 3

You get paid

Within 7 days of the sale ending you get a statement listing each lot, what it sold for and our commission: 20% of the hammer price, VAT included, and nothing else. Within 14 days we pay the balance by bank transfer, provided the buyer has paid us. There is nothing to pay on anything that does not sell.

About Homefront Auctions

Homefront Auctions is a small auction house in Swansea, run by two partners, Neil Phillips and Liam McCumiskey. Neil is on site and runs the saleroom day to day; Liam runs the paperwork, the statements and the payments. There is no sales team and no call centre.

Everything we take is sold by online auction through Easy Live Auction and Bidspirit, with a sale roughly every ten days. Our saleroom in Fforestfach is a working warehouse, not a showroom: there are no viewing days, and you can drop items off by appointment.

We are a young business. Since our first sale in November 2025 we have run more than 30 sales and sold more than 4,600 lots, and we are rated 5.0 on Google from six reviews, as at September 2026. Homefront Auctions Limited, company number 15101977.
